This notice explains how information is handled when you browse this website. IceShadow Productions is operated by Dustin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Purchases and order messages are handled through Etsy.

Your measurement choices

We ask for permission before either measurement option starts. Choose “Basic only” for our aggregate counter, “Allow both” to also enable Google Analytics, or “Reject both.” Neither tool starts before your choice. Use “Privacy settings” in the footer to change your choice or reject both at any time. Browsing and Etsy links work without either option.

Optional basic statistics

If you allow basic statistics, our server adds page views and clicks to Etsy to daily totals for each website page. The counter stores no visitor IDs, tracking cookies, IP addresses, device details, referrers, or individual event histories. It does not identify unique visitors or link visits to purchases. Repeat views and clicks can increase totals.

The counter sends only the event type, a known page name, and confirmation of the applicable consent choice and notice version. It sends no query strings, form entries, or Etsy account details. These totals stay on our hosting account and are not sent to Google. We keep a rolling 90-day reporting window and remove older totals when the next counter event is received.

Connection information, including your IP address, is necessarily processed to deliver requests. The hosting provider may keep separate technical logs as described below. “Basic statistics” describes our aggregate counter, not the hosting provider’s logs.

Optional Google Analytics

If you choose “Allow both,” this website loads Google Analytics to help us understand which pages people visit and which links they follow to Etsy. Analytics can include page views, referral information, browser and device details, approximate location, and interaction information. Google uses cookies and similar identifiers to measure visits.

Our Etsy click event records the destination link, listing ID when applicable, and the page the click came from. It does not confirm that you purchased anything on Etsy. The site does not send the text of your custom-project brief to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is off until you specifically allow it. Allowing basic statistics alone does not load Google Analytics. We configure the website’s analytics tag with advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google signals disabled.

Cookies and your choice

We store your choices, choice date, notice version, and expiry in this browser’s local storage for 90 days to remember your preferences. This preference record is not a visitor ID and is not used to track you. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics cookies, including _ga and cookies beginning _ga_, are configured to expire after 90 days. Browser settings can shorten their lifetime.

You can change your choices using “Privacy settings” in the footer. Rejecting both stops new counter events and Google Analytics collection on this site and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this domain. It does not undo events already sent or erase information already sent to Google. The basic totals do not contain individual records that we can identify and remove. Clearing browser storage or using another browser or device may require choosing again.

Both measurement options are off until you choose.

As an additional privacy measure, when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we keep both optional measurement tools off. To allow measurement, you would first need to change that browser setting. Your choice on this site does not control Etsy’s or Google’s own websites.

Products and shopping on Etsy

This website retrieves public Etsy listing information to display products, prices, and availability. Some product images load from Etsy’s image servers; requesting those images shares technical connection information with the image provider.

When you follow an Etsy link, Etsy’s own privacy and cookie practices apply. Our links use Etsy Share & Save, which can attribute eligible orders to shared links and reduce our seller fees. Choosing to reject this website’s Google Analytics does not change Etsy’s separate tracking or cookie choices.

This website has no checkout or payment form and does not import customer or order records through its inventory connection. Etsy processes checkout, and information you provide for an order is available to us through Etsy to fulfill that order. See Etsy’s Privacy Policy and our shop policies.

Messages and custom projects

The custom-project brief tool creates a draft within your browser. It does not submit that draft to us. If you copy it into Etsy Messages or contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send so we can respond to your inquiry.

Hosting and technical information

The site is hosted by phpwebhosting. Serving pages involves processing connection information such as an IP address and requested URL. The hosting provider may keep technical logs for service operation, security, and troubleshooting; these are separate from optional Google Analytics.

For questions about information you have shared with IceShadow Productions, or to request access, correction, or deletion, email info@iceshadow.com or contact us through our Etsy shop. Requests concerning Etsy’s or Google’s own records should also be directed to that provider.
